The Endtime Danger

It is no more news that the end of the world is very near as the signs and things that were written in the Holy Bible are coming to pass on a daily basis. It is a known fact that every human being was created by God. We were not mere creatures, but we are uniquely created on the sixth day of creation by God.

We are created in God’s likeness and He breathes life into us to become a spirit being. God gave us the ability to think, reason, and take charge over other living creatures which include animals, birds, plants, etc.

We need to read and meditate on the scripture daily if any Christian wishes to get to heaven. Satan has set his agents to churches today to trouble and destabilize the activities of the churches in this end-time period.

It is in view of the aforesaid that all Christian needs to be more prayerful and be careful of all devil devices so as not to be prey to the devil and his agents. Some of the devices devils use in this end-time are disobedience, false teachings, false prophecy, adultery, fornication, quick money, etc.

A religionist is not a Christian. Whosoever does not accept Jesus Christ as his or her personal Lord and Saviour are not Christian. Satan has distributed mere religion among people of the world today by claiming to be a member of a popular assembly which God does not reckon with or known. In the book of Revelation 12:9, it says “And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Disobedience to the word of God – Some Christians leaders have deviated from God’s instructions and commandments as laid down in the scriptures thus misleading their followers or members by going contrary to God’s will. Disobedience is one of the things God hates. The true word of God is scarce. The fake ministers who God does not recognize or known have misled millions of people all in the name of God to enrich their own pocket.

I beg you brethren to be sensitive in these last days that many devils incarnated ministers have taken over some churches while truth word of God is very rare but stick to the word of God – scripture and meditate on it daily as written in Joshua 1:8 which says “This book of the law shall
not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success”.

Disobedience to Holy Spirit – Holy Spirit has been sent parking in some churches today. They do things according to their own human opinion and thinking. They do not allow Holy Spirit to lead or direct them anymore thus making some churches today to become an enemy to God because they have abandoned the owner of the church which is Jesus Christ and they have set the standard for themselves in other enrich their pocket. In John 14:26, “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

We need prayer now that the devil is roaring like a wounded lion that is looking for someone to kill.

We need prayer at the end time that Satan has vowed that no Christian will make heaven.

No matter your status or riches on earth, you need to pray fervently to overcome the devil’s tricks in other to make heaven. Whatever your position, qualification, or honor on earth it does not guarantee you a seat in heaven except you have a cordial relationship with God. We all need to be identified by God by listening and obeying His instructions and commandments on daily basis. By so doing, we will have God’s attention as He said in the book of Psalm 50:15, Psalm 91:15 and also in Jeremiah 33:3, He asked us to call on Him in other to show us hidden we do not know.

I pray as we call on Him today, God in His infinite mercy will answer us in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Prayer – Key to enjoying God to the fullest

Prayer is the act of communicating with Almighty God. It is also a way of making our request or petition known to God. A Christian must be able to pray to God as commanded in the book of 1 Thessalonians 5:17 “Pray without ceasing”. Prayer is one of the greatest tools a genuine child of God can use to fight and overcome the enemies (devil).

Our Lord Jesus Christ demonstrated the habit of prayer person in the book of Mark 1:35 it says “And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed. Also in Luke 5:16 it says “And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed. The book of Matthew 26:39, it shows how Jesus Christ told his disciples to watch and pray for him but they slept off. This teaches us that Christians must be able to pray without ceasing in other to avert evil on daily basis. However, Ephesians 5:16, says “Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. A fervent prayer Christian is a friend of God and as well as an enemy to the devil.

Furthermore, in Luke 22:44 it was written that the sweat coming out from his body was like drops of blood. It shows he must have been with great strength. If our Lord and redeemer can pray fervently in such a manner I wonder why we Christians of today are wary or reluctant to pray.  In other words, it means a prayer-less Christian is prey to the devil.

5 Benefits of Prayers

Cordial relationship with God – Anyone who prays fervently will enjoy God’s abundant grace, mercy, success, and protection. A prayerful person will become an intimate friend of God.

It averts evil – Prayers avert evil as written in Ephesians 5:16, it says “Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Prayer is like a contribution in God’s bank, any prayer prayed before the evil day will be withdrawn from God’s prayer bank to pay in other to avert such evil.

It brings God’s promises to fulfillment – Prayers will make the promises of God to come to fulfillment in one’s life as long as he or she lives a sin-free life.

It brings victory – Anyone who prays to God fervently will continue to record victory in his or her ways in life.

It brings long life – A prayerful Christian will live long if he or she can do away with sin.

In conclusion, it is good for any Christian who wishes to make heaven to be fervent in prayer in other not to become prey to the devil and his host. Prayers in one of the greatest tools any Christian can use to fight and overcome the devil.

Diligence | Master Key To Greatness

 Main Text:               Proverbs 22:29

What is diligence?

Diligence can simply be defined as a strong desire or determination to perform a task to achieve the best result. It could also be described as the quality of being in accord with the dictates of conscience to achieve positive results.  Our God is diligent in His work by creating both heaven and the earth in six (6) days and rested on the seventh day. Despite the enormous work before Him, He was able to do all He wanted in just six (6) days because of His diligence.

Diligence shows one’s capability way of handling jobs, development, and issues in order to achieve results.  No wonder the Bible made us understand in the main text of this discussion (Proverbs 22:29) that “Seest thou a man diligent in his business? He shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.” This means that anyone who is focused, determined and dedicated will succeed in whatever he or she does. An ambitious person will become great and stand out among his peers as a result of his or her diligence in his or her profession or ministry. In the secular world, humans are being rewarded for diligence and hard work in the workplace. This encourages other members of staff in a workplace to become diligent and more committed to their job so as to get the reward at the end.

God’s Vineyard
God Himself usually rewards His diligent, obedient, and dedicated children accordingly. The Bible made us understand in the book of Hebrews 11:6 which states that “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

Also in Proverbs 8:17, it is an act of diligence that will make someone wakes up at the early hours to worship and pray to God while some are still sleeping. The Bible passages made us understand that anyone who seeks God diligently will surely get a great reward from God. This shows the importance of diligence with God.

I will quickly mention few people in the scriptures who diligently seek God and achieved greatness in the end.

Isaac - In Genesis 26:12, it states that Isaac sowed in the land, and received a hundredfold in the same year. This comes as a result of the diligence of Isaac in his farming profession. A farmer, who cleared, tilled and plowed land, then plant seeds and failed to look after the seeds he has planted will not be able to reap any seed at the end of the season or year simply because he did not come back to remove weds that will hinder the growth of seeds he has planted.

In Isaac case, after planting, he came back to remove weeds in his farm so as to allow the seeds he has planted grow well. By so doing, God bless the work of Isaac and was able to reap hundredfold of what he has planted in that land as a result of God’s blessings for his diligence in his farming profession.

Joshua – He was able to succeed Prophet Moses as a result of his diligent service to God. It was God who discovered Joshua by Himself, not Moses. This made him to succeed in leading the children of Israelite in the right direction and he was able to achieve greatness during his tenure as a leader.

Prophet Elijah – Elijah was able to stand before the Baal’s prophets and proved to them that there’s a God in heaven that answers by fire. Elijah’s diligence made him stand firm and proclaim the God he served before the people and God magnified Himself before them all. He was a great prophet of his time because of his boldness and diligence to the service of God.

Daniel – He defiled the King’s order and serves His creator openly despite the king’s order that everyone should bow for the graven image at a particular time of the day. He was thrown into Lion’s den, yet he didn’t exercise any fear because of his diligence service to God. He believes God will intervene swiftly and God actually proved Himself beyond Daniel’s imagination. Daniel achieved greatness at the end of it all (Daniel 6: 7-24).

Apostle Paul – As a result of Paul’s diligence in God’s vineyard, he was able to write fourteen (14) books out of the twenty-seven (27) books in the new testaments. As a result of his diligence in God’s vineyard, one can say the Apostle Paul was the greatest among the apostles in his time.

In conclusion, a genuine child of God (Christian) must be diligent in his or her service to God. Everything we do must be done with fear of God in our hearts. We must be diligent, focused, and dedicated in all we do for God.  Also, the Pastor should be diligent in their service to God so as to achieve greatness in their ministry in God’s vineyard or any chosen career or profession respectively.

The most important things in life are our diligence and obedience service to the Almighty God, because He’s the ultimate rewarder of our service in His vineyard as stated in Hebrews 11:6.

I pray God to grant every one of us the spirit of diligence to do great exploit in our service to Him to become great in life in the mighty name of Jesus Christ – Amen.

Text: Matthew 11:30, Matthew 11:29

Yoke could be referred to as taking off an oppressive power from one’s way of life while the burden is something that restrains someone from getting to his or her destination in life.

Any life or a human with a yoke will not be able to achieve much success or if any at all in life. A yoke or burden is an instrument being used by the devil to deprive the children of God of their blessings. Bothe yoke and burden can be taking away from anybody’s life if such a person is ready to do away with them. There are steps to follows before yoke and burden could be taken away from anyone’s life.

In the reference text – Matthew 11:30, states that “For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light” It shows that when you come to Jesus Christ, His yoke and burden are light for anyone to carry. Also in Matthew 11:29 it made us understand that one will also learn from Jesus Christ when one agrees to bear His yoke and burden respectively.

The effects of Yoke and Burden in a life

(1)   It reduces the power: Anyone under the bondage of yoke and burden will not be able to achieve much due to lack of power. -  Nehemiah 4:10.

(2)   Become old quickly: By virtue of yoke and burden career, one can become old as soon as possible because of stress.  -  Genesis 47:7-9.

(3)   Lack of joy and happiness – Anyone under the care of yoke and burden will not be happy and joy will elude such person.

(4)    It can make anyone lose his or her memory until such person gets healed or cured. Luke 13:12.

(5)   It can send someone to captivity

(6)   It can make someone work for another person to eat without gaining from it.

(7)   It can as well leads to untimely death. Anyone under the bondage of yoke and burden might get killed as a result of continuous thinking.

How to get rid of yoke and burden

(1)   Avoid sinful act: Abstain from anything that has to do with sin.
(2)   Seek God daily
(3)   Read God’s Word daily –Joshua 1:8
(4)   Be filled with Holy Spirit
(5)   Be prayerful

Yoke or burden is the human enemy that doesn’t want anyone to become successful in life. As we both take the above steps, I believe God will deliver us from all bondages of yoke and burden in Jesus' name.

As the Lord lives and His Spirit lives, I pray may the Lord deliver us from any form of yoke or burden that has tied our life down in Jesus mighty name.
